NAME Early Bird Offer Extended
Date posted: 26 July 2010
Earlybird deadline extended for NAME National Conference on 17 - 19 September 2010.
Specially reduced rates for earlybird bookers to this year’s NAME Conference will now be available until 31 July.
“The deadline was 30 June,” says NAME Chair, Rob Nash. “Directors have decided to offer this concession in recognition of the current financial climate. The quality of the conference programme remains as high as always.”
A fantastic opportunity for continuing professional development is available. Opening with guest speaker Evelyn Glennie, the programme explores the theme “Finding the Pupil Voice” with a range of eminent keynote speakers, wide-ranging workshops, presentations and challenging debates. The Conference runs from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September at Yarnfield Park Conference Centre, Stone, Staffordshire.
”Why seek the pupil voice? Does music education today respond to this voice? How do we develop young people’s leadership in music education? These are only some of the issues we’ll be considering,” says Rob Nash. “Come and share your thoughts and experiences. At the NAME Conference you’ll be inspired and challenged. Meeting colleagues working in all areas of music education will keep you informed and up-to-date.”
