Structural Reform Plan Published for the DCMS

The Structural Reform Plan (SRP) for the Department of Culture, Media and Sports was published on July 15th.

Over the past weeks several SRPs have been published for different departments, including the Cabinet Office, Department for Communities and Local Government and the Department for Education. Now the SRP for the DCMS was published and is outlining the department's priorities, actions and milestones for the coming years.

The government stated that these SRPs are key for making departments accountable for the implementation of the reforms set out in the Coalition Agreement. These plans are replacing the old top-down systems and are allowing the public to check whether the departments are meeting their commitments.
